It also disappears from extreme heat and cold. I left paperwork in my car that I know I filled out. The next day after leaving it in below freezing temps, it was gone!! Nothing like a pen testing out how crazy I think I am!

You know it is bad, when they have to make an animation instead of not using the real product.

Adding on to the previous comments, yes it can be pretty tight and challenging to come off... However i found just grabbing a cloth in your left hand to remove friction and getting a firm grip while trying to twist with your right hand seems to get the job done. It's my second time refilling and it's a pain every time, but at least it works for now.

Yes!!! I’m sure rubber band works, I used my wallet. Just something to hold around it. Remember to twist further towards the pen tip than you think

If its not working u can just fold a tissue 4 times and hold the dark blue thing that u put ur dinger on while writting and ill open very easily

Was just about to throw it in the bin - with the replacement refills that came with it (defeats the whole purpose of buying the pen with refills I know). Anyway I persisted - used the rubber band tip below and low and behold it worked! You saved me - and the landfill.. thanks

Did anyone find a pen that works better cause I only use mine one day and the next day ghost writing.

It comes closed tight indeed! Omg. I am super weak but I put on my cleaning gloves and it helped get a better grip, it turned almost immediately. I should have done that from the start 😅

what about I used it to write notes and the colors are gone? how can I recover my notes?
